Health maintenance is all about Identifying dreams, managing expectations, creating and setting the right diet, prescribing the correct activity; we do all this in partnership with those who consult with us.

We focus primarily on prevention of illness such as heart disease, cancer, alzheimers, rheumatism, early ageing and general bad health. But, depending on the individuals and their attitude, we also work with those with existing chronic disease. Most with heart disease welcome our help- after all it is proven and accepted that diet and activity benefit the heart. Many people who get cancer only hear half the story from their GP, or the other half from the alternative practitioner. We help people understand the evidence and the options open to them, from both sides. Sometimes it is not just about one way or the other, but a balanced approach can help people cope with whatever it is that ails them.

Stroke victims can in many instances, with the correct after event treatment, return to normal life with full faculties within 6 months (or less). The current health system in the UK treats stroke victims as long term ill and typically recovery is slow, laborious and in many instances non existent.

At HealthDreams, we prefer to work with people before they become immobilised by heart disease, cancer or any other chronic ailments. It is easier to keep healthy than to reverse the damage done to a diseased heart or attempt to destroy a tumour.
